Leadership Transition and Strategic Focus

Randall Makin

From 16 September 2024, Waterline enters a new chapter of strategic growth and leadership following the resignation of Steve Cheyne, General Manager of Strategic Growth.

“Steve has been a valuable contributor and partner in the business for the past 7 years as we have built the business together. Steve has announced that he will be leaving Waterline with effect from 2 December 2024 as he’s looking for a tree change with his family. In the interim, Steve will be working closely with Randall Makin who will lead the transition process taking over from Steve. I wish Steve and his family all the best for the future,” said Mr Strong.

“I am looking forward to welcoming Randall back to Waterline. As a co-founder, he is one of our Waterline heroes and with this recent experience leading the successful Red Eye acquisition to Accruent (FTV:NYSE) team as its Chief Executive Officer, I am thrilled he can instill some of his knowledge back to our team.

We are committed to ensuring we continue to deliver high quality work for our clients and deliver on our purpose of partnering with Australian Industry to provide safe and sustainable resources to the world. Because we want our clients and our people to be successful,” stated Mr Strong.

Waterline remains dedicated to its clients and employees, with a clear focus on delivering its strategic objectives. Waterline looks forward to delivering on its client promises of bringing an owner’s mindset to all their engagements and delivering projects that achieve mutual success.
