Tim Strong
Chief Executive Officer
Hi, Tim Strong Chief Executive Officer for Waterline here. I’m looking forward to attending the 2024 Longwall Conference with my colleagues Steve Cheyne General Manager of Strategic Growth and Dan Harrison, Longwall and Operational Specialist.
As Chief Executive Officer of Waterline, I’m proud of the exceptional work my team has delivered over the past 12 months for our clients in the Resources Industry. From open-pit, to underground, ports and minerals processing facilities, we’ve engineered pragmatic solutions for our clients who are decision makers across advisory, capital and operational engineering projects.
This past year has been a year of transformation for Waterline. Not only did we deliver our long-term strategy, but we’ve also made some changes internally to improve our client and employee experience. One that really reinforces client-centricity and enables our talented team to deliver pragmatic engineering solutions for our clients. So I’m thrilled to be at the 2024 Longwall Conference with my team to connect with clients and delegates and share our journey, while also seeing how we can help reduce their stress by taking care of the rest, while they focus on other aspects of their business.
THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR
As an Engineering Services company, we’re driven to collaborate with our clients to help them deliver positive project outcomes. Because we bring an owner’s mindset to every engagement, we work towards delivering mutual success. We believe that if our clients are successful, our team and Waterline as a whole is successful.
We are back again for the ride in 2024. This is our third consecutive year in fact. We always look forward to learning more about developments within our industry when it comes to safety, operating more efficiently and leveraging technology to advance our industry. It’s also a fantastic platform to connect with clients and delegates, understand the challenges they’re facing and see how we can help engineer solutions for their complex problems.
engineering with a difference
As I mentioned earlier, the past 12 months have been an eventful time for Waterline. We’ve spent some time listening and unpacking feedback from our clients to deliver improved client experiences. And it has been positive to hear from our clients that they value Waterline’s approach. Not only do they appreciate our transparency, but they also value the involvement from our senior leadership team in ensuring their projects are delivered seamlessly. When they engage with us, our clients have access to my senior team, myself included. We don’t just fly-in for the first engagement and disappear, we’re with them for the full journey. This is because we are proud of the work we deliver for our clients and we want to deliver mutual success.
Over the next few months, you’ll see some changes to our website, where we are focusing on enhancing our online visitors’ experience.
