Waterline was engaged by Stanwell to select updated HA complaint equipment to reduce the Hazardous area risks in the coal bunkering areas of the Tarong power plant since much of the existing equipment was from the 1980s, with no like-for-like replacements available.
Waterline went through the designated areas, identifying at-risk equipment and selecting appropriately ex-rated replacements, considering interfaces with existing equipment and client preferences regarding operation and maintenance.
Waterline provided alternative design solutions in areas where no like-for-like replacement was available. They actively worked with the client to provide not only functional and compliant solutions but solutions that were preferred by the client.
